The Rather Dark Depressing Story of Mortal Kombat 2011 Game

Mortal Kombat 2011 (or some would call it Mortal Kombat 9) I really thought had gotten to me to where I'd say it's pretty depressing.  So where do I begin?  It's the conclusion to Mortal Kombat Armageddon, everybody's dead as seen in the opening below...

So Shao Kahn somehow defeated Onaga.  What we learned happened last was that Taven defeated Blaze, Taven became a full god and ascended yet the other warriors were neither weakened nor killed but rather, the third unexpected outcome came... they all became incredibly powerful.  So maybe Shao Kahn got more powerful than Onaga, killed the latter and eventually returned to the pyramid to beat Raiden up.  Raiden gets beaten up but not before using his broken Amulet to send a message to the past saying "He must win..." leaving us to think who this "he must win" is... seriously Raiden since when did you go vague talking?!  So what happened was simple... after Shao Kahn wins, the "solution" was found namely an alternative timeline that would try to stop Armageddon.

What happens next is that even the events of Mortal Kombat 1-3 all got thrownback and altered greatly.  Just try checking how many events here are a result of some sudden timeflip, even Jax, Nightwolf, Kitana and Baraka who were supposedly in MK2 show up in MK1 storyline instead.  Or one has to even consider the fact that Raiden in here is just being plain moronic.  The future Raiden doesn't even say who he must win is which really creates Raiden getting ONE ERROR after the other.  The more Raiden tries to prevent Armageddon, the MORE his stupidity really hits.  Come on Raiden, you're supposed to know the constitution of the Elder Gods... and then he really does give Fs to everyone by ensuring they DIE one by one and he doesn't even know what he's doing.

On the part of Liu Kang- I could relate myself to Liu Kang in EVERY step of Raiden's errors.  If I were to follow Raiden like that, I'd rather get electrocuted and die than continue being his student.  So it does remind me of my days with a College teacher we called Sir Raiden because every time it rained or if yesterday had a lightning flash, he never came to hold classes.  Back to Mortal Kombat, seriously Raiden's future self didn't even say WHO MUST WIN.  And it just got worse was when he entered into the Elder Gods' presence, he doesn't even get it that invasion is not a transgression, it is only when Shao Kahn merges them without Mortal Kombat that the Elder Gods are allowed to intervene and punish the transgressor.  So what part of that don't you get?  Good job Raiden, good job you certainly killed us all!  Quite the irony of being wise beyond measure, Raiden you killed us all!  And of course, boo and hiss to the fact that Liu Kang died again in here.

And yes Liu Kang IS right- you killed US ALL.  Killed us all Raiden, you killed us all!  In fact, you only figured it out TOO LATE.  Well I could imagine just how crazy will Raiden's judgment will be after Shao Kahn was defeated...

At the Elder God's courtroom, Raiden is summoned.

Jade Emperor: Raiden, we have assisted you in your battle against Shao Kahn only because he violated the rules of Mortal Kombat.  You should have known that better!

Raiden: How am I supposed to know that if Shao Kahn merged the realms without Mortal Kombat, he will receive judgment?

Jade Empress: Idiot, you're an expert in constitution and yet you don't know that?

Then... Liu Kang kicks Raiden's butt.  Just then Shinnok finally enters.

Shinnok: Now another Mortal Kombat begins!!!!
