Kamen Rider was one of the things that entranced me as a child. They had the cool bug design, the awesome action and well, it all began with the Kamen Rider era where it began with the first Kamen Rider to the last of the Showa. These TV shows were:
What was also intriguing is that during the course of the series, there was the menacing figure known as the Great Leader. He was heard of and later, was revealed to be having decoys and were voiced by Naya Goro. Here were his roles:
- The Kamen Rider (there was an additional Kamen Rider)
- Kamen Rider V3 (aided by Riderman)
- Kamen Rider X
- Kamen Rider Amazon
- Kamen Rider Stronger
- Kamen Rider Skyrider
- Kamen Rider Super-1 (after this, ZX was just a TV special)
- Kamen Rider Black-Black RX
What was also intriguing is that during the course of the series, there was the menacing figure known as the Great Leader. He was heard of and later, was revealed to be having decoys and were voiced by Naya Goro. Here were his roles:
- In the First Kamen Rider, he was the leader of Shocker. However he escaped death with the help of a robot that had many masks behind it.
- In V3, he was the leader of Destron. However he escaped with the help of an obviously fake skeleton which self-destructed. Funny it was only a tape recorder.
- In Stronger, he was the founder of Black Satan and Delza Army. He however had two decoys- one a spider like bug and another as a giant rock creature. Again, the Great Leader escaped death.
- In Skyrider, he appeared as a giant dragon. Although the riders seemed to perish, they actually survived for some reason.
- In Black, some fans assume that Gorgom was founded by the Great Leader and made a false backstory to deceive its members. However the Eon King was voiced by Takeshi Watabe and NOT Goro Naya so maybe they're not the same person.
- In Black RX the true leader of Crisis Empire was voiced by Goro Naya who kept proclaiming his return. He may have been destroyed for good or is it?
