How Black And Black RX Could've Tied Them Loose Ends IMHO

As much as I still enjoy Kamen Rider Black RX (and yes, it's still MILES better than that idiotic Saban's Mashed Rider which is best considered an Adaptation Decay) -- I still feel like criticizing it for having too many loose ends with Kamen Rider Black. I just thought of how the series itself could have tried to tie some of its loose ends from the last pure Showa Rider to the transitional Kamen Rider which sadly didn't get a new series out after it. It's only 11 years later did Kamer Rider get a really good reboot!

So how would loose ends be tied? Remember, Black RX was tying back to the Showa era while Black was intended to be its own continuity for some reason. I thought about how to tie the loose ends, especially with how Black ended. Here's a bit of a start that could have been done. I could start with Kyoko and Kasumi sending a letter to Kotaro telling him to fight on. He still remembers them while he works for the Sahara family. He remembers them while still facing his loss -- such as remembering how he had to defeat Shadow Moon in order to save the world!

Tying the loose ends between Gorgom and Crisis Empire for a start

I remembered this scene from Kamen Rider OOO's crossover movie where Shocker took over the world no thanks to a simple mistake. We see High Priest Darom represent Gorgom Empire (and he was in charge of operations before Shadow Moon came) and General Jark (who was in charge of operations until Grand Lord Crisis decided to infiltrate them by using a secondary body known as Tasmader). So how am I going to tie some loose ends? I would have probably written a bit of a twist where Crisis Empire and Gorgom are actually linked together -- or that Gorgom priests and Shadow Moon were all part of Crisis' grand plot to take over the Earth. Black thought his mission was over until he realized that the people behind his suffering in Black are still out there!

The first episode should actually have the Creation King mentioned again. He's not destroyed and the evils of the heart of men allowed him to survive. Kotaro tries to fight off the new threat. I would let him henshin into Kamen Rider Black only to realize the new enemy is actually Gorgom's higher ups in the form of Crisis Empire! He's told that he could have taken his destiny by taking the King Stone from Shadow Moon and that his treachery will be "rewarded". This would be where General Jark is introduced as the fearsome general of Crisis Empire. Creation King (who's really Grand Lord Crisis) deploys General Jark and his troops because the Gorgom priests have been destroyed. They would be the more powerful "elite Gorgom" which would revive Gorgom's operations in taking over the world.

So how does Black become Black RX? Well the same way. The damage he's taken from Crisis Empire's plan (and send a monster of the week for the first episode) has him transform back to Kotaro. General Jark would talk about just how they were waiting for the moment for either Black Sun or Shadow Moon to lead them into the new future. However, this is a disappointment that causes the Creation King to somehow extend his life -- after he was supposedly destroyed by Black way back in the last season. As punishment, they send him drifting into space. However, King Stone starts to show up and reveal that Black Sun's new Century King form will appear as Kamen Rider Black RX!

Turning Shadow Moon into the head Crisis commander for a good amount of episodes

This would be a new interesting plot to show Shadow Moon could have been brought back to Black RX. I would probably let Kotaro get his new powers via the other King Stone. The Creation King would later speak to General Jark and his invasion party - saying that their efforts have been far from impressive. He would later revive Shadow Moon to temporarily take charge.

This Shadow Moon will retain the one-sided personality - getting the Black Sun King Stone in order to fulfill his duties. General Jark and his subordinates will yield allegiance to Shadow Moon. The Creation King will tell them that if they fail -- they may end up in the same fate as the three Gorgom High Priests. Shadow Moon returns to temporarily take charge of the Crisis Fortress as its invasion captain. General Jark and his subordinates willfully yield to Shadow Moon.

Here's how I could handle it. We should get an arc devoted to Shadow Moon temporarily taking over as Crisis' commanding officer. I would totally get rid of the Princess Garanoia part and introduce the Robo Rider and Bio Rider forms differently. He demonstrates his power by modifying Death Garon into a stronger, more formidable foe. Shadow Moon shows up torturing Kotaro with the thought that he wasn't able to save his foster brother Nobuhiko. Later, Shadow Moon also deploys his two new bodyguards (given to him by Creation King) known as the Triplon Unit.

How would the new upgrades be introduced? I'd probably have it where Black RX accidentally absorbs some of Shadow Moon's power in their first duel. This one results in the sadness of Kotaro thinking about Nobuhiko starting triggering the Robo Rider form. Robo Rider ends up finally destroying Death Garon in a gunning duel. However, Shadow Moon continues to taunt him giving no more hint of his former personality underneath that cold shell. Joe the Haze would also be introduced in this arc. He's a former member of Gorgom who lived to tell the tale. He would later join them and start to think that there may be still some good left in Shadow Moon.

Bio Rider would be introduced a few episodes later. This time, Shadow Moon decides to take things into his hands. Shadow Moon releases his two new bodyguards born from his upgrades namely the Triplon Unit. He would also be involved in a grand scheme that would end up harming the Sahara children in the process. Shadow Moon however starts to get headaches while Creation King keeps on brainwashing him. This rage causes Shadow Moon to finally break the King Stone off his body and give it to Black RX. Black RX would later absorb the power of King Stone to become Bio Rider. Shadow Moon dies in the process while Bio Rider finally destroys Triplon.

Have Bilgenia return acted by Tetsuya Matsui

The failures would later pile up (again). General Jark temporarily gets his job as leading the invasion forces since Shadow Moon was destroyed episodes earlier. However, Creation King remembers one of his former minions. I would have actually made Creation King speak in a horrifying voice threatening to destroy his minions for their repeated failures. He ends up reviving the more ruthless and sadistic Bilgenia (and that means Grand Lord Crisis' mobile body Colonel Tasmader couldn't exist) reappear. He doesn't have to be acted by Jun Yoshida. Actor Tetsuya Matsui could take over as now upgraded and stronger version of Bilgenia.

Bilgenia would appear with his white make-up and sword. This would shock General Jark and the others as Creation King would now send the maverick Bilgenia to be an inspector. This would be a little more shocking to Kotaro as he discovers that Bilgenia has returned! Bilgenia would soon have his own motives while he works as the new inspector of Creation King! This wouldn't sit too well with General Jark and the others. General Jark may even remind Bilgenia that the latter was rejected for his rebellion. Maybe, have the pother Crisis officers comment that Shadow Moon was a much better superior. However, Creation King reveals that he's decided to go into drastic measures by sending Bilgenia to keep their progress on track!

Bilgenia will come up with more practical plans. This would be where Bilgenia simply trolls the Crisis officers. That means Colonel Dasmader can't exist! Bilgenia begins his plans such as controlling the water supply to enslave the humans. Another would be where Bilgenia starts to focus on creating Crisis immigration centers. Best plan yet? Maybe, have Bilgenia subtly take over buildings and prepare for Crisis Empire immigration. This would be an opportunity to insult the Crisis officers. Maybe, have Bilgenia say, "Maribaron, your plans are no less convoluted than that of High Priestess Bishium!" Maybe, establish a possible friendship between Bishium and Maribaron.

The finale could play its part as well. Bilgenia could start by mocking them, telling them that their plans are ridiculous. Gedorian could be baited out by Bilgenia telling him how to power up the final monster in his unit. Gedorian ends up dead as a result of Bilgenia's schemes. It would also be intesting when Gatezone ends up getting an upgrade instead to fight Black RX. Bilgenia eventually reveals Granzarias as HIS ultimate weapon. It might be fun to have Granzarias a failed Gorgom experiment. Bosgan dies the same way - refusing aid from Granzarias. We can also have General Jak ask Grand Lord Crisis for help in the same way. Have Bilgenia take advantage of the situation, take command of it, and have him personally direct the battle of Jak Murderer. In the end, he should get a battle with Black RX before the final duel with Grand Lord Crisis begins.

Tying down the whole Showa era together

How would I tie the Showa Riders together? I think they would be busy gathering together to fight Crisis Empire. Why didn't they appear in Black? Well, the other 10 Kamen Riders were simply getting ready for this one -- the Gorgom cult was merely a front of Crisis Empire! The defeat of the Creation King's form as a giant heart is not the finality of it. They would later appear for the finale arc where they should get a more active part in the battle.

Other plots I'd keep will include how the other Crisis officers died. This would later have Creation King speak once again in a horrifying voice (and the vision of flame from Kamen Rider Black) that he would send the ultimate mutant known as Granzarias. Granzarias appears and starts causing havoc. This would have the Kamen Rider warriors do stuff like rescuing civilians and fighting off the soldiers of Crisis. People will suddenly remember the events of Gorgom. Kotaro would say that he's died once and he's not going to die so easily -- especially in the scene where he will be deemed "dead" after destroying Granzarias from within.

The plot would be that Maribaron wouldn't be reviving old Crisis Kaijin as ghosts but some old enemies from past seasons. Maybe, we can have one villain per season even if they will be played by different actors. The Kamen Riders find themselves powerless against the vengeful ghosts of their foes. However, Bio Rider re-emerges and tells them to attach the feathers to the ghosts. The Kamen Riders will send their old enemies back to Hell rather than just let Bio Rider finish them off.

How will the finale be? I may not really think too highly of old-school Kamen Rider but I decided to get ideas from there. Remember how the Great Leader appeared in the finale of Kamen Rider Stronger as a giant monster and in Kamen Rider Skyrider as a giant dragon? I would really be that interested to have it where Creation King reveals himself to have been using decoys in the past. He would start rampaging them and I would actually have the form of Grand Lord Crisis appear as an Okubi-type persona in the sky -- seeking to destroy the Kamen Riders after so many failures! This would happen after Black RX refuses the offer to become the next Century King for the second time!

What I complained about Black RX was that why weren't the senior riders given much of a part in the finale? The way the Great Leader was destroyed in the Heisei movies made me wish they would actually do that! Maybe, have the Great Leader appear and use some past incarnations. He would now threaten to destroy the Earth. However, Black RX manages to unify his power with the other Kamen Riders of the past. They would end up leaping super high into the sky and unleash an 11 Rider Kick Attack to destroy the Creation King. However, he still bluffs and says that even if he's defeated but evil will never disappear -- something that they will remind everyone of as the series closes.
