Beast Morphers Is Still Stuck With Nickelodeon's Sh*tty Summer Break And Season 1-Season 2 Format

I thought I'd say goodbye to Beast Morphers but I decided to give it a shot to see how Hasbro can handle it. I don't know why the word "Saban's" is still in the title though. Did Toei just let that technicality pass now that their American partnership is with Hasbro? Or does Saban still have a partnership with Toei except now Hasbro is part of it? I decided to try watching Beast Morphers (but no episode reviews, sorry) considering that I still have had that soft spot for Lost Galaxy (though it's hardened somewhat due to Flashman which is a totally different show), Lightspeed Rescue, and Time Force. Side note, I still wish that both Lightspeed Rescue and Time Force were given 10 more episodes to develop everyone -- it suffers from the same pacing issues as did Metalder which I heard was canceled due to lower viewership from children!

As far as the show is concerned -- I wouldn't call it total garbage or terrible. In fact, it's a huge improvement (writing-wise) from what happened with Ninja Steel -- a show that ends up making the rather lackluster Ninninger look like it's a masterpiece! But what's holding Beast Morphers back? Well, it's really the same problem that EVERY season of Power Rangers has with Nickelodeon since Samurai which really made things worse followed up by Megaforce. This is also the same potential killer that affected Dino Charge as revealed by Power Rangers Now:

Each episode will air on Nickelodeon at 8am ET, beginning in early 2020. The season will then last the duration of the year, with an annual summer hiatus set to cover the length of the summer.

Power Rangers Beast Morphers will have 44 episodes in its entirety, and air on Nickelodeon from 2019-2020.

I find it super pointless to split Power Rangers into two seasons and give it an annual summer hiatus. Come on, Beast Morphers is just starting to pick up and Nickelodeon is really ruining it with that season 1 and season 2 format. If there's another point that Super Sentai has against Power Rangers now -- it's the fact that Super Sentai has NO summer break. Heck, I even dare to say that Kyoryuger (a show that I still don't hold in high regard) is "better" than Dino Charge for that reason even when I end up disliking both as "not my cups of tea". The first season didn't end yet and fans had to wait UNTIL FALL before Nickelodeon resumed its airing. Then fans are stuck up with the same sh*tty scheduling too. Nickelodeon can do that to their other shows like Danny Phantom or Fairly Oddparents since they're sitcoms. Power Rangers shouldn't be treated like that.

What's annoying right now is this. The first half of the series has concluded but we know it ain't over. We see that Devon's father the mayor has his hand indicating something is wrong. Then we see that there's going to be the return of Jason the original red ranger (for the dinosaur crossover) and Dr. K from RPM so why wait UNTIL NEXT YEAR just to see it? Why can't it just flow throughout the whole year AND let early next year be the time to end the show? Like WTF Nickelodeon? Ryusoulger is going to be airing more episodes next week, Kamen Rider 01 is going to be airing more episodes next week and Beast Morphers is forced into hibernation by Nickelodeon.

It's times like this that just makes me really ask once more, "Is Power Rangers going to die any time soon?"
