This was just my crazy idea of making a Killer Instinct clone (sigh what happened to that franchise?!) here's probably my crossover game with a Killer Instinct story:
Umbrella Corporation, perhaps the most sinister company ever has been holding a new tournament called the "Lethal Hazard" tournament where the only rules against the opponent is to win- do whatever it takes to win. To prove their superiority, they have even gone as crazy as to invite even supernatural beings to compete. In their trump card is where they have made a Faustian pact with the Ashtaroth.
Characters and their non-canon biography:
Jill Valentine- Agent of STARS. Always an enemy of Umbrella, Jill seeks to destroy the very combany that had seriously altered her appearance. The backside of this was that now she has the ability to summon the undead to her bidding! Wanting that none may suffer her hate, she enters the tournament!
Strider Hiryu- After defeating the Grand Master, Ultratech becomes another threat. He seeks enlightenment and to rid the world of any possible evil. Entering the tournament, he seeks to destroy it believing that there could be remains of Grandmaster Meio's followers entering into it. Little does he know Jedah has been manipulating him from closed doors!
Sasquatch- He was captured by Umbrella hoping they could use his ice powers. They also wish to
Hauzer- From the game Red Earth, this dinosaur like creature who was resurrected by Scion. Now he has been secured by Umbrella as a Trump Card.
Pyron- The evil demon of fire is invited by Umbrella Corporation to participate. He believes that he will find more worthy opponents before he eventually takes over the Earth.
J. Talbain- The werewolf from Darkstalers, he seeks a cure for his condition. He seeks to get the cure from Umbrella.
Riptor- The skeletal undead seeks to find out who desecrated his grave by attending the tournament.
Neo-Nemesis- Thought to be destroyed, Umbrella managed to create another Nemesis soldier this time more powerful than the last. With cybernetic enhancements, this bio-mechanical menace is one of the trump cards to keep the deal with Anakaris.
Balrog/Mike Bison- His master General Vega/Bison sent him to infiltrate Umbrella, get all that powerful resources and to prove Shadaloo beats Umbrella. His brutality is a sure weapon of destruction!
T. Hawk- After his tribal lands were being exploited by Umbrella, T. Hawk seeks to reclaim it by joining the tournament.
Gameplay:
My ideal gameplay is where it follows the three level power bar system, each character has at least one to three super moves which causes more damage than regular moves but must be timed to get a guaranteed hit called the Hyper Combo.
The Ultra Combo is done when the opponent's life bar is blinking red signalling a finisher. Each character has his/her own Ultra Combo to annihilate the opponent to death.
Another feature is the "Killer End" where a finishing move is done. When the opponent is dizzied and the screen is flashing red, execute these moves at certain distances Prepare and see your opponent die to a personality based finisher.
I just thought I might include some KI style "No Mercy" attacks. Here are my ideal no mercies:
Jill Valentine- Her first no mercy involves her unleashing the T-Virus against the opponent, the opponent turns into a zombie then she lets out her Magnum, fires off the legs then the head for the brutal finish. The second one can be where she where she releases an army of zombie dogs and crows to feast on the opponent then she unleashes her rocket launcher to kill them all together.
Strider Hiryu- His first no mercy involves him crushing the opponent with a huge steel structure. The other is where he uses his sword to maul the opponent severely.
Sasquatch- His first no mercy involves firing an ice beam that freezes the opponent then they crash breaking them. The other involves him using his spinning punch at the opponent, punching them off then he breaks the ground revealing a puddle of super cold liquid that kills them.
Hauzer- His first no mercy involves him spitting out a very corrosive fireball that turns the opponent into ashes. The second one involves eating up the opponent whole and alive.
Pyron- His first no mercy is to melt the opponent. The second one involves him in using a pool of lava to swallow up the opponent.
J. Talbain- His first no mercy is where he does a wolf maul at the opponent. The second no mercy is where he infects the opponent with a deadly rabies via a bite.
Riptor- The first no mercy involves two skeletal hands that come out to grab the opponent down to the grave. The second no mercy involves him unleashing electrical attacks to shock the opponent to death.
Neo-Nemesis- His first no mercy involves him revealing his head transforming into a humongous version of itself, he chews the opponent violently to death. The second no mercy has him firing a deadly laser that will dissolve the opponent.
Mike Bison- His first no mercy shows how brutal he is when he beats the opponent's head severely until the neck is broken. The second one involves him using his brutal fighting to launch the opponent smashes to the screen resulting in a bloody splatter.
T. Hawk- His first one involves him using his ancestral strength to break the enemy into pieces with an air slam. The second one has him calling for all his ancestral strength to use an air attack that sends them blowing up to pieces.
