Was Megaman 6 Supposed To End The Classic Megaman Series?

I remembered checking out the chronology of the release of Megaman games. If you noticed, the first Megaman X game was released for the Super Nintendo after Megaman 6. The ending of Megaman 6 showed us that at long last, Dr. Wily was arrested by Megaman. Megaman 6 was released on November 5, 1993 and Megaman X was released on December 17, 1993 under the Rockman title. Megaman 7 was a game that was released after Megaman X3. I call these games as the "prequel games".
I gave a thought on it if Megaman X became more popular than Classic Megaman then why was the latter given more games after X6? My speculation has to do with this one: Megaman X2 and Megaman X3's plotline called for it. If Classic Megaman just ended with X6 then it'd be difficult to provide explanations for plot in X2 and X3. X2 reveals a bit of a puzzle where Sigma says that Zero is the last of the "Wi... numbers..." and X3 reveals that Megaman X will one day have to fight Zero. It wouldn'…

What If Dr. Hinelar Had A Power Rangers Counterpart?

With Gingaman getting a DVD release anytime soon after Megaranger is released, I thought of what if Dr. Hinelar wasn't demoted to Furio for Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. I thought that these following events could have happened.

Trakeena would have either never existed or she would have taken the place of Darkonda. Another alternative is that Darkonda would have become the right hand man of the Dark Specter. Trakeena may end up arriving as a midseason game-changing villain as Power Rangers' own version of Queen Ahames. Maybe, she may never be Scorpius' daughter at all. She may have a plot where she and Darkonda once worked to get rid of the Dark Specter but failed. She returns "begging" for mercy but she has her own plans to take over and rule the Universe. Maybe Astronema would have been redeemed in the same way as Shiima from Changeman. Maybe, just maybe Ecliptor would have probably "killed" Astronema, he and Andros have a final duel and he ends up dyin…

Is Power Rangers Shooting Itself At The Foot Too Many Times?

I thought about how Power Rangers is going from bad to worse. Sure there have been moments but I can't help but be critical about what's going on. Sure, I acknowledge Toei's license with the contracts between Disney and Saban but I wonder if Power Rangers' snobs even realize the franchise has been going down. A lot of bad decisions of the franchise such as the Zordon era (and good thing Power Rangers in Space ended it), the Disney era and the Neo-Saban era.

At first, I thought it was good riddance and welcome back Saban or should I just call him Cake Boss from now on. Disney was already doing bad enough with too much cost cutting with its super rushed pacing and acting tends to suck. Power Rangers RPM had potential but the rush pacing killed some of it. While I wouldn't compare RPM and Go-onger but I may end up writing on why I prefer Go-Busters over RPM. Disney brought forth that awful Mighty Morphin' remastered and later, Cake Boss returned and brought in mo…

Super Mario Is An Actor?

There's one thing you could notice is that Super Mario Bros. 2 (which was a remake of Doki Doki Panic) and Super Mario Bros. 3 had formats similar to stage performances. You could notice that many elements in Super Mario just feel out of hand with reality and that everyone's a theatrical troupe.

Let's get real, shall we? Super Mario Bros. 3 the NES edition prior to the Super Nintendo remake in the Super Mario All Stars cartridge showed shadows where they shouldn't be cast. It looked like a theatrical set. What made it into the remake was the Exit Stage Right. You can't deny that it looked like a play and Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed it's a play. I guess it's a storytelling method or two, all the Mario games are just stage plays and props.

The way the Super Mario games happen tend not to connect with each other for most of the time. A good example is that not only is Bowser killed over and over again (and his returns have no explanation whatsoever) but also …
