Goku And Gohan Marrying The Ugly Guy's Hot Daughter

While I don't find myself really rewatching Dragon Ball or Dragon Ball Z (except for selected arcs) - I wanted to make a bit of plot recycling. Gohan was actually supposed to be the "new Goku" but may have been in his father's shadow. Gohan did beat the much stronger Cell but I guess the popularity of Goku and Frieza is hard to match, right? Gohan would later get weakened in the now non-canon Dragon Ball GT. Now, one plot that was actually reused would be the two heroes marrying the ugly guy's hot daughter.

Should we really Ox King as ugly? Maybe, maybe not. All that's known is that he has a beautiful wife and sired a beautiful daughter whose a xerox copy of her mother. We need to consider that most children are a combination of both parents for better or for worse. Even some ugly people are born from attractive parents and vice-versa. Brigitte Lin's children are half of her and half of her ex-husband which means they're neither as pretty nor as ugly as either which parent. In Ox King's case - it seems that he was probably once a looker but years of idleness and overeating turned him into a slob. Unmasked, the Ox King doesn't really look repulsive. Maybe, it's just a classic case of Robert Baratheon from Game of Thrones (though I'm no fan of the series) was once a heartthrob but years of feasting made him a fat slob. 

If anybody truly qualified as ugly - it's Mr. Satan or I'd rather refer to him as Hercule. Filipino fans call him Master Pogi which made the whole chanting "Satan" not really funny. I don't know how the character even got his name since he's not even malevolent. Poor choice of screen name anyone? He's really more ugly and nothing suggests that he was once good-looking (or genetically handsome) and that his good looks were spoiled by bad habits. Videl is good-looking and may actually qualify more like the Ugly Guy's Hot Daughter more than Chi Chi.
