I remembered playing Street Fighter Alpha 3 and one of the weirdest things that caught me off-guard is Cammy's ending. Her ending in the game has it that after you beat Super Bison - you'll discover Bison's own words that Cammy is a clone of him. I find the idea to be that Bison is actually either lying or he's telling the truth. Cammy is intended to be one of his many clone bodies (Abel and Seth are among them). I just find the plot to be so stupid since her original introduction didn't give such a plot until SFA3. So, what's with the plot, and how does Bison have a female clone?
Again, quack science. In X-Men Evolution - we had the first cartoon later ported into the comics character X-23 as a modified female clone of Wolverine. Though, it seems that Wolverine's DNA wasn't alone in the process and maybe, just maybe, DNA of a woman was also created. I was thinking also of the possibility of Cammy as a MODIFIED clone of Bison probably had other DNA mixed and not just his. Possibly, unlike Abel or Seth, she had a surrogate mother before cloning tanks were the thing. So, how long she was raised as a genetically modified human is unknown. I think that it's possible that a British Shadaloo agent served as her mother which was created by artificially using Bison's DNA. Bison's DNA was mixed with that of a woman to create her. In X-Men's "Age of Apocalypse" comic series - Mr. Sinister would create a modified clone by combining the DNA of both Cyclops and Jean Grey to create their "offspring". Cammy probably has that in her storyline that she's Bison's artificially created daughter.
Why would Bison want to use Cammy as a replacement? I think it's weird but possibly also as a temporal vessel. Bison could use a female persona to hide while he prepares to transfer his essence to an actual clone body. Nobody would suspect that Bison would return in a female form so Cammy was probably created as a decoy body. Again, Bison could be lying about her being a replacement. Also, Cammy doesn't look anything like Bison either. Though, it's possible that Bison is her genetic father and that she did have the DNA of a woman after all. So, I guess Cammy is genetically female because a female Shadaloo agent's DNA was mixed into Bison's DNA to create the female soldier.
Still, for a great game - I still find the revelation in SFA3 really just too weird.
