Episodes 31-32 create another important separate arc... OR NOT! Sincline previously dismissed Sahlia. It's not surprising that Sincline and Daibazaal get into a fight for the nth time. This time, both father and son take the fight into the ARENA. This shows Daibazaal can still fight on his own. However, Daibazaal tends to just bark orders from his throne than even get directly involved fighting against Golion. Back when I saw the Lion Voltron episode -- I was always hoping Lotor would get rid of Zarkon. Sincline asks his father to finish the fight. It's probably done because no matter how evil Sincline was -- he's probably meant to still have some sense of honor underneath his For the Evulz.
Honerva creates a new breed of Beast Fighters called Mechablack Beastmen. The first one completed is Lambda. I'll just dub them as Mecha Beast Fighters. Honerva installs an organic Beast Fighter into the brain component of the Mecha Beast Fighter. It's different from how Combattler V handled its usage of Jangal's piloting of the Magma Beasts. I felt that letting the Galran people pilot the Beast Fighters could've worked. Producers probably didn't want to do a cliche -- even after Golion blatantly ripped off weapons from the Nadao Tagahamna Romance Robot Trilogy!

Golion faces the prototype Lambda. Golion defeats it but not without getting injured. Sincline is shown to be still perfectly willing to murder Fala if he can't have her. The Blu Lion is attacked and Fala is getting injured. This is a big blow. Honerva later creates Gamma based on Lambda. Lambda is even more menacing than Gamma.
The Golion team trains harder to find their great potential. The Golion team try to figure out how to draw out the power of their titular mecha. Of course, there are still some weaknesses like how Tyuyoshi is still clumsy. Fala still has a lot to learn. However, they discover their secret attack in the middle of the battle called the Four Lion Attack. It consumes a lot of energy! The Four Lion Attack is used to injure Gamma before using the Jyuohken. Spoilers: The Four Lion Attack was rarely used after that!

As I was watching this arc -- I felt like the Four Lion Attack got wasted. If anything, I felt that they could've taken a bit more from the Romance Robot Trilogy. Doesn't Golion's main body absorb lightning? It could've been interesting if Golion decided not just to take more weapons from Combattler V but also from Voltes V. Voltes V later introduced the Chodenji (Ultra-Electromagnetic) Ball when the Boazanian Beast Fighters were upgraded. Honerva supposedly upgraded their Beast Fighters with Mecha Beast Fightes. I wished Golion fired off an elemental ball from the sword to weaken the Mecha Beast Fighter's armor. Instead, the Four Lion Attack was introduced but it was barely used!
