Mortal Kombat Animalities That Never Fit For Their Characters IMHO

Mortal Kombat's Animalties are my least favorite finishers. My complaint is that it would rob creativity from the Fatalities and put them into the Animalities. Liu Kang's Dragon got people hyped. The rumors that Kuai Liang Sub Zero could become a polar bear came in Mortal Kombat II. The rumors became true in Mortal Kombat 3. A couple of rumors would become real in later games but not all of them. Now, it's time for my list of Animalities that never made sense.

Sheeva as a scorpion (which made Hanzo Scorpion as a penguin) should've been revised in the later installments

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and Mortal Kombat Trilogy changed some fatalities and friendships. A good example is how Hanzo Hasashi Scorpion's multiple assault was removed for some ports. Sonya's arm aerobics was replaced with flowers. Why weren't some Animalities revised then? Sheeva became a scorpion. Later, Hanzo Scorpion returned AND he was turned into a penguin. I felt Sheeva should've been given the penguin transformation with the explosive egg. Hanzo Scorpion should've been the SCORPION!

Mortal Kombat 4/Gold somehow rectified that mistake -- except more finishers couldn't be added due to memory constraints. I wish Mortal Kombat X brought back the finisher in full HD! It was a shame that Hanzo Scorpion wasn't given this fatality since Mortal Kombat X was a huge remake of Mortal Kombat 4/Gold.

Reptile's animalities were totally not even close to who he is

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 turned Reptile into a chimpanzee. Like WUT? Wouldn't a crocodile or any reptilian creature fit him better? Even worse, Mortal Kombat 1 goes as far as to insult Reptile by giving him a NON ANIMAL transformation. Why in the world is he a Venus Flytrap which is NO animal? That's unless we're playing Super Mario Bros. then it works.

Liu Kang as a phoenix

The latest animality is probably just an attempt to avoid redundancy. Given Liu Kang's status as a god -- maybe that's why they gave him the Fenghuang identity. However, I feel the Fenghuang Animality would've fit Kitana better.
