When Horror Movie Murderers Guest Star In The Mortal Kombat Franchise

Image
Since it's Halloween I think it's time for a really good scare. It's ironic how I could play the Mortal Kombat franchise while cringing over live-action gore. Yeah, talk about it that I played Resident Evil 3 on the PS1, loaded a Gameshark, and enjoyed using infinite ammo on the zombies. I guess CGI blood isn't as scary as the realistic blood used in R-18 movies or actual blood. Mortal Kombat is a franchise known for its extreme violence, it created the ESRB rating board, and it's very controversial. I thought about some of my favorite opponents in Mortal Kombat namely horror movie serial killers! Freddie Kruger as a DLC The great reboot Mortal Kombat (2011) added Freddy Kruger from the Nightmare on Elm Street . Okay, I did play as him but only to complete the gallery on Komplete Edition . The game did go as far as to give him two pairs of razor-sharp claws presumably due to the use of the left and right arms. Maybe, it's to make him more threatening than Baraka...

A Really Fun Review Of "Mortal Kombat Trilogy" That Defends Why I'd Play "Mortal Kombat (2011)" Instead

It's already known that I wrote a scathing review of Mortal Kombat Trilogy some time ago . This game review reinforces why Mortal Kombat (2011) is the beast and maybe the BEST Mortal Kombat game ever made. MK (2011) made me forget the first eight main games ever existed - that's especially since the AI was so broken. This review may confirm what I think about the game - an UNTESTED game where sudden freezing, sudden crash, and a lot of glitches are too apparent in this game. I'd recommend watching this review. In my case, I ended up hating the game after playing MK (2011) . Then again, I'd say that without MK Trilogy - MK (2011) would've probably never existed. It would've probably never fixed several issues like Rain and Noob Saibot being broken, ridiculously overpowered bosses, and making the game a more enjoyable experience.

MK's Tag Team: Why I Don't Think It's THAT Broken

Image
It's no secret that the Mortal Kombat franchise didn't only copy from Tekken but also from Marvel vs. Capcom series . I may enjoy playing Tekken Tag Tournament 2 over Mortal Kombat (2011) . However, I'n not going to shy away from trying to defend MK (2011)'s Tag Team mode and say that it may not be as broken as some people think. Yes, it's broken and sometimes, finding the right partner can make one an offensive but how broken was it? I'm going to do a review of some older games to make a comparison. Until now, I'm upset that Capcom didn't make arcade-perfect releases of the previous entries such as X-Men vs. Street Fighter up to Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes . Those were great times then I thought about using them as analysis. A lot of games were really broken in the 90s. Who can remember how broken Mortal Kombat Trilogy is for the PSX and the Sega Saturn? I could remember easing the game using the boss monsters, especially MOTARO. It was fun...
