My gaming vibes are GOOD AS SUNK. So far, I only enjoy playing mostly old-school games while embracing new technology. I guess the generation gap really happens like I'm more interested in replaying Super Mario World than any of the newer Super Mario Bros. games. That's why I haven't had a Nintendo system and I'm outdated on it too. I Googled for " Tekken 8 Arcade " and found this out from Hardcore Gamer: There are changes with Tekken 8 that are worth noting and it starts at the core. For the first time, the game will not be released as an arcade cabinet prior to release. This game will be no arcade port, but rather built from the ground up on the Unreal 5 Engine for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC. This is showed off in the visuals as environmental lighting and textures look to be miles above any other game in the series, and overall potentially some of the best visuals period. Disney is nothing but a bad joke now. People can go ahead and think I'm just bashing the Beauty and the Beast (2017) movie because Emma Watson isn't hot enough for Belle. Okay, maybe I am but I've been watching some Korean dramas where the actress isn't even pretty (ex. Shin Hye Sun who's obviously a smart girl). I looked at what's leaked out and am I even surprised. There's always this feeling of "Oh I'm so easily offended!" going on! The latest Snow White isn't even snow white at all. It's Latina actress Rachel Zegler. I could start out that I had nothing against Halle Bailey as Ariel IF the Africanization was done right I did cite Happily Ever After: Stories for Every Child and how it remade a lot of stories into different settings. It had A Little Mermaid happen in Taiwan, The Emperor's New Clothes in Japan, and Beauty and the Beast in Africa. I did notice there seem to be a lot of things copied over by Toei themselves. The late Tadao Nagahama's Robot Romance Trilogy went to a full-blown romance. Yes, it's a Romeo and Juliet though spoilers, Kazuya and Erika did make it through. I guess Kazuya was just too exhausted and the way he collapsed, didn't look like he died. I re-watched and the ending says that as long as both lived - both races came together. Now, it's time to examine another Super Robot villain we love to hate - Generalismo Olban. Olban was the main villain of Daimos . He's pretty much an Expy to Zu Zambojil of Voltes V and may have inspired Emperor Corsair in Dairugger XV.  Unlike Zambojil, we saw Olban giving Richter orders to conquer the Earth. As a villain, Richter only wants to save his people but Olban has other plans. Richter got into the fight because his father, the late Generalissimo Leon, was poisoned at a lunar base. There was the late Tadao Nagahama's Super Robot Romance Trilogy . The third and final installment was known as Tosho Daimos . Daimos' main villain was Generalismo Olban. The show explored a Romeo and Juliet type of love story between two races - Earthlings and Baam-Seijins. Both Kazuya and Erika would keep learning that not everyone from their race is purely good or purely evil. Like Combattler V and Voltes V before it - Daimos also had good members of the alien race. Daimos decided to add a bigoted character who hated all Baam-Sejins alike. That guy was actually General Sakimori Miwa who was dubbed over as General Harris. I'd like to bring up why this guy was probably one of the best villain plots ever conceived. In war, some people are plain opportunists. Miwa's supposedly on the side of good but in reality, he's probably best suited for Complete Monster. He was supposedly an ally of Daimobic. However, he was far from an ally like General Oka from Voltes V . Inst...

I may not be planning to get Mortal Kombat 1 any time soon since my gaming vibes are getting lower. However, hearing of the kameo system some time ago made me think of a game I wish I could play again - Marvel vs. Capcom . It's too bad that when the PS2 came out - Capcom NEVER bothered to create the arcade-perfect translation after the Dreamcast crashed.  I remembered how Marvel vs. Capcom in the PSX made you choose between regular partner or special partner. The special parter could aid INFINITELY in the EX Edition. The arcade edition had it as a special partner which can be summoned a number of times. In Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter - your partner can assist you in the battle to do a special move. In Mortal Kombat (2011) or MK9 - there was also Tag Assist though it required one level of the super meter. I think MK9 did try to balance the partner assist to avoid it from becoming as cheesy as what MSH vs. SF did. Granted, I haven't tested it yet so I can't determ...

Michael presents the history of Telesuccess Productions (a dubbing company in the Philippines that did the oh-so-cheesy English dubs back then). I remembered GMA-7 aired Combattler V by giving English first names and Japanese last names (which ironically made the real first names the dub surnames). Before that, Voltes V was aired by giving very American-English names to the cast of characters. I guess it was that hard to remember and pronounce Japanese names so the dub names were given. Personally, I don't hold a fondness for the dub names these days after seeing the Japanese original.  Voltes V got aired during the Empire of Marcos. I originally had a theory that Voltes V stopped airing straightly after episode 28 when Emperor Zanbazil was revealed. I wonder how true it was that Zanbazil was renamed Ferdinand and General Bergan (Ozlack) was renamed General Fabian? If that were true, I guess we can never find th...

I do have my gaming vibes dying. I did remember that while I could afford Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath but many stuff just suck. One of them was making Sindel EVIL ALL ALONG in the New Timeline. The storyline started where Past Liu Kang and Revenant Liu Kang into Fire God Liu Kang. Later, MK11 Aftermath had two possible endings. Would it be Fire God Liu Kang who starts a new era or will it be Shang Tsung? It turns out that Liu Kang won the new era.  Fire God Liu Kang defeats Shang Tsung (who practically defeated Kronika OF ALL PEOPLE). Fire God Liu Kang starts a New Era in which he speaks to the original Great Kung Lao. Fire God Liu Kang was last seen talking to the Great Kung Lao to be his champion. We have Raiden who is now a mortal and a farmer. I still feel Raiden should've regained his divinity instead of turning into a mortal.
